Band Bios:
JOHN BALLEW
John plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and harmonica.
His performing past includes the band "Last Chance" and
acoustic solo gigs at House of the Dragon. John's voice
is tailor-made for songs by John Mellencamp, Bryan Adams
and Bruce Springsteen.
John's daytime hours find him dodging through
the legal intricacies of courtroom proceedings as a respected
attorney.
John is totally to blame for this band.
It was his idea and we're not about to let him forget it.
He has helped create a situation that keeps some of us out
of trouble and many of us IN trouble. Some of us keep him
around just so we can borrow his inhaler.
PAUL BURNER
Paul plays six and twelve string acoustic guitars. Paul's
band history includes FRAGILE: 1976-1978, solo ventures
and BD Roads with Kevin Moore of Soul Dawg (early 80s).
Paul produces computer graphics, including
web pages like this one, at his business, Slide Arts Graphic
Design.
Look at the photos. Is that the same guy
from years ago? There are many who - like the Beatles - think
that Paul died and was secretly replaced by a Harley guy
they found at a bar one night.
KEITH CORNELIUS
Some call him "Flash" others call him "Skeeter".
Good taste prevents us from mentioning some of the other
names he's been called. His musical roots run from
the Beatles to everything in between. He logged many
miles traveling with the "Dick Clark Caravans" "The
Flippers" Bobby Vee, Bobby Goldsboro,
remnants of the "Rock & Roll Army", there's
not enough room. He's wanted to play with the "Wheezetones" for
years.
One of the few straight guys that we know
who buys his clothes from "International Male"
BOB CREAGER
Bob has played drums in bands with John (Last Chance)...
and was a natural addition to the band. Over the years
Bob's toy chest has grown from playing drums with straws
on a table while watching the Wheezetones to owning a Roland
electronic drum kit. He is now know as the midi activator
- not the drummer.
Bob is an attorney in Lincoln.
We had to join AAA Nebraska so we could
get maps of all the restaurants available during our travel
gigs. You DON'T want to ever let Bob get too hungry - it's
not a pretty sight.
DOUG DICKESON
Doug plays electric guitar and guitar synth. Doug has a long
list in his performance history - Daddy Warbucks, Get High,
Sirius and Double Take are a few. Doug has produced a CD
of his original music entitled String Theory.
Doug's daytime hours are spent providing
computer and video support for the local public school system.
Ask Doug what he thinks about people getting
up on stage with us during a gig. Oh yes - if you smell incense
at one of our gigs - that would be Doug - a part of him got
lost back in the 60s and there are folks still looking for
him.
